Family Reserve cabernet Franc 2020

Pour yourself a glass of our signature wine, Cabernet Franc. Cabernet Franc is medium-bodied red wine. Our Cab Franc  has more fruit flavor than tannic structure, making it an easy drinking red. With medium-high acidity, our Cabernet Franc pairs well with tomato-based dishes and vinegar-based sauces- think spaghetti and meatballs or bbq ribs.

This blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre has aromas of ripe fruit, dried sage and herbs, a fruit forward flavor with punches of pepper and herb on the finish.

This medium to full bodied red pairs well with spiced Mediterranean dishes like Shakshuka and red meats.

"What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word, and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down."

An idea born under the Andean sky

Be Inspired.

The inspiration for El Lazo de La Luna began when Mark & Erika Piccirillo were on their honeymoon in Mendoza, Argentina in 2013. They not only fell in love with Mendoza, but also the wine of the region.

To their surprise in a region known for its Malbecs, they were captivated by the region's Cabernet Franc, whose peppery characteristics enchanted them. It was on that trip that they decided to some day plant their own vineyard and bottle their own wines. This was their moon they dreamt of lassoing.

After 4 years of focus and diligent work they purchased a small vineyard in the foothills of the Andes. And now they're ready to share their wines with you.
